Our Mission<\/h3>\n

To simply state it, our mission is to provide education, awareness, and action. \u00a0You can\u2019t have change of any sort if there is no awareness, and no awareness without education.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Our Goals<\/h3>\n

Our goals will change based on the needs of the population we serve. \u00a0That being said, the immediate\u00a0need is for communities to understand that it is ok to get help. \u00a0For this to happen we need to establish relationships with community leaders, pillars, religious houses of worship of all kinds, and businesses.<\/p>\n

We need to keep families safe and together. \u00a0Some families need secured emergency housing. \u00a0Many of the shelters out there cater to women. \u00a0What happens when you have a 16 year old son? \u00a0You may not be able to secure emergency housing because of his sex and age. \u00a0What happens if you have more than one son? \u00a0What if you are an older man seeking help from an abusive spouse? \u00a0Our goal is to provide housing that keep families together that are in a position to be able to support one another.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Who We Are<\/h3>\n

We are our brother’s keeper, we are our weakest link. \u00a0This is why we need to make an effective change. \u00a0I’ve been personally frustrated how we have become a society where we sit back and wait for something to happen, for something to change.<\/p>\n

This is not the America I grew up in. \u00a0This is not the America my parents immigrated to. \u00a0We are too hungry, to broke, too frustrated with being stuck in positions we feel we have no way out from. \u00a0This is where we come in.<\/p>\n

We are volunteers and community activists. \u00a0We are your neighbors and co-workers. \u00a0We are a group of people coming together to fill a need. \u00a0We are in our infancy, and we hope to make a positive impact in our neighborhoods and communities. No only will we work to build our communities stronger, we will do so with full transparency across the board.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Transparency<\/h3>\n

Money. \u00a0We all need it – especially organizations and programs that provide outreach. \u00a0Questions that I have before I personally donate a cent of my money is where the money will go and how will the money be used. \u00a0We know the saying, “follow the money”, do organizations provide the transparency you want in knowing were every cent of your money is going? \u00a0That is what sets us apart. \u00a0You have full control of where your money will go.<\/p>\n

Would you like to help keep our lights on, so our volunteers can work on grant applications? \u00a0Would you like to contribute to our emergency shelter program, helping us to rescue\u00a0victims of physical abuse? Would you like to contribute to our consumer legal fund, helping fund attorney or legal fees for victims we help; or would you like us to apply it to wherever its needed most. \u00a0Any way you donate, you will receive a breakdown of how each penny was spent, and the impact you had on your community.<\/p>\n

Giving isn’t only in the form of financial contributions, we’re always looking for help.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
