Internship Overview:

Embark on a meaningful journey with us as a Grant Writing Intern. As an integral part of our community advocacy efforts, you’ll play a crucial role in securing funds for initiatives such as domestic violence services, community advocacy, and education programs. This unpaid internship provides a unique opportunity to gain practical experience in grant writing, contributing to the betterment of communities worldwide.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Research and identify potential grant opportunities aligned with our global mission and focus areas.
  2. Collaborate with team members to gather essential information for grant applications.
  3. Craft compelling and persuasive grant proposals communicating our organization’s needs, goals, and impact effectively.
  4. Maintain an organized grants calendar, ensuring deadlines are met, and applications are submitted in a timely manner.
  5. Stay informed about global grant trends, best practices, and funding opportunities relevant to our mission.

Internship for College Credit:

  • Compliant with the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).
  • Registered non-profit in Florida with 501(c)(3) determination from the IRS.
  • Aligned with institutional learning, providing a hands-on/applied approach.
  • Responsibilities tailored to each individual based on their degree program requirements.
  • Qualifications: Enrolled and interested students.
  • Responsibilities customized to individual preferences and goals.
  • End-of-program presentation on a relevant topic for potential credit submission to institutions.
